On November 10, way before the results were announced at the E! People's Choice Awards 2019, the company has already posted "BLACKPINK Won in 3 Categories" on their official SNS. After a few minutes, the post was deleted and changed into "BLACKPINK is Nominated in 3 Categories." However, a lot of people have already seen it and various Korean media websites have responded to their post as well.

After BLACKPINK was announced as the winner in all three categories, speculations arose. Aside from the ARMYs, a lot of people also questioned the results due to millions of votes between BTS and BLACKPINK, with BTS leading in all categories. "It just doesn't add up," one fan tweeted.
