The U-KISS member and actor shared a still on Instagram that appears to be taken at the music video filming set for his new track. In the image, Jun is wearing a white-and-yellow hoodie and pants while he sits next to a lady in a jumpsuit. The artist uploaded the shot with the caption "Thank you for waiting" that is written in hangul along with the hashtags "#Coming_soon" and "#solo."

Upon learning about the good news, fans expressed their happiness for the idol by congratulating him in the comments. Most of them also left remarks like "I can't wait!" and "I'm so excited!"

Jun is one of the rappers of U-KISS who only joined the group in 2014. He made his first debut as a U-KISS member in June that same year. Jun, along with Soohyun and Hoon, are the only remaining members of the boy band.

This past April, on the 10th, Jun launched his first Japanese solo track titled "Phenomenal World," which marks his Japanese debut. Prior to this, he had a solo showcase last February, where he met 700 fans in Tokyo. In addition, he conducted a series of concerts in two cities of Japan, particularly Osaka and Tokyo, which took place on April 6 and 8, respectively. The event was called "JUN 1st Event 2019 ~ Phenomenal World."

"Phenomenal World" ranked as the seventh best-selling track by a Korean singer on Tower Records Japan for the first half of this year. Apart from debuting as a solo artist, Jun has also successfully made a name for himself as an actor. His first drama is tvN's "Avengers Social Club," where he played the role of Lee Soo Gyum, who wants to take revenge on his biological parents. His second project is MBC's television series called "Goodbye to Goodbye," where he acted as Han Min Soo, who is a son and a boyfriend of the other main characters.

Furthermore, he made his acting appearance in OCN's drama "Class of Lies," where he took the role of Yoo Beom Jin, who is a top student. Jun's most recent television show is SBS's "Good Casting," where he acts as Kang Woo Won.
