EXO, whether a group or individual achievement, never fails to make EXO-Ls proud. Just recently, members Chanyeol and Lay took the foremost spots at Tencent Media Entertainment Awards 2019 in their respective categories they were nominated at. Chanyeol won the Most Popular Overseas Singer award, whilst Lay won the Most Popular Singer title. 

EXO's official Facebook and Twitter accounts also posted this impressive feat saying, "EXO CHANYEOL and LAY have proven their popularity once again by winning the "Most Popular Overseas Singer" and the "Most Popular Singer" at the 2019 Tencent Music Entretainment Awards."

The supergroup's massive fans also rejoiced on social media and expressed how proud they are for the two. Further, they are hoping that they will both attend the awarding ceremony on December 8 for a much-awaited reunion.

EXO is currently gearing up for their sixth album "Obsession", slated to be released on November 27. Xiumin and D.O. are not part of this comeback as they are currently fulfilling their mandatory military service.

Meanwhile, Xiumin is presently starring in the musical "The Promise of the Day" amidst serving the country. He also recently released a military track along with fellow idols who are also serving in the army.

D.O., on the other hand, is serving in the military as a chef. We all know that the idol-actor enjoys cooking and that he completed his cooking certificate this year.

Lay is also not partaking in the sixth album, but he will be releasing a love song titled "Good Night" on the 15th. On his official Weibo, Lay referred to the forthcoming track as "Lay Style Love Song" and "Second Round." He also hinted at the song's feel with the lyrics, "A goodbye that cannot be taken back, endless distant good night." 

In an interview that took place in the Valentino event he recently attended as Greater China's ambassador, he was asked about "Good Night" and he explained, "Good Night is a sentimental love song. I think everyone has this kind of feeling. Has someone they like, didn't treasure it and there is some regret after turning around. In this song, the most expressed emotion is regret."

Countdown towards the unveiling of "Good Night," Lay talks to his fans through "Good Night Radio." He was quoted saying recently, "Some people, you only take one glance but they can accompany you for your whole life. There are some who see through you, but still, love you the same and are willing to make noise and go crazy with you - a good kind of love should be like this right?"
