BTS has taken home three trophies at this year's American Music Awards!

The said event took place on November 24 in Los Angeles, California (local time). The seven-member group, however, did not attend the ceremony, but they still won in three categories: Favorite Social Artist, Favorite Duo or Group - Pop/Rock, and Tour of the Year. This is the second time BTS was announced as the winner of the "Favorite Social Artist" award. 

To express their gratitude, BTS created a video message after receiving the trophy for the Favorite Duo or Group - Pop/Rock. Jungkook said, "Thank you so much! We are very grateful to obtain such an important and meaningful award." Jin added, "We apologize for not being with you there to celebrate this festive night personally but we're hoping to see you soon."

BTS leader RM stated, "BTS has been a group for six and a half years, and throughout those years, many of our dreams somehow manifested into a reality. ARMY, you guys are the ones who have made all of this possible, and we really couldn't have done it without your unlimited love and support from all over the world. We will try our best to live up to it to strive high, work hard, and return your love to you."

As for obtaining the Tour of the Year award, RM remarked, "This tour may be over, but we hope our message for this tour will continue to sit with you forever - the message that you must find the way to love yourself."

Their awards for Favorite Duo or Group - Pop/Rock, Favorite Social Artist, and Tour of the Year mark the boy band's 90th, 91st, and 92nd recognitions they got for this year. These only prove how BTS has made its name known all over the world, being able to build large fan bases in the Philippines, USA, Malaysia, Mexico, Taiwan, Brazil, and many more.

Recently, BTS has won two awards at the V Live Awards V HEARTBEAT that happened on November 16 at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul. BTS was one of the groups who received the award for V Live Global Artist Top 12 and the K-Pop band who won the "The Most Loved Artist."

On top of that, BTS has been making lots of world records this year, which includes the music video for their song "Boy With Luv" as the most viewed MV in 24 hours of 2019. As a result, BTS will be featured in the new book of Guinness World Records.
