Award season at the end of the year is on and one of the first big ceremonies for awards is 2019 Asia Artist Artist award, were held in My Dinh National Stadium Hanoi, Vietnam on November 26. The ceremony was attended by various idol groups, soloists, and actors. Hosted by Star News: Lim Ji Yeon, MOMOLAND's Nancy, Super Junior's Leeteuk, and Ahn Hyo Seop.

The five Daesang grand prices from the night: Song of the Year, Artist of the Year, Performance of the Year, Album of the Year, and  Actor of the year.

The first Daesang grand prize award is, The Song of the Year won by Red Velvet for their song "Umpah Umpah", is an uptempo dance song with a disco-house rhythm that's even more energizing thanks to Red Velvet's refreshing vocals.

The members said, "This is our first Daesang since our debut. We'll keep working hard and repay you with good songs and performance." They also said that they'll continue to show performances that will give happiness and develop this positive relationship.

The second Daesand grand price award is, The Performance of the Year won by GOT7. "You Calling my name", is a comeback single after six years of debut.

Jinyoung said, "2019 was a very cold year. We'll receive this great award and share the energy with our juniors with hopes that 2020 will be a warm year." The group hinted that it wasn't easy for them after two comebacks and a world tour. 

"We sincerely thank Ahgase(GOT7 fans)." The group wanted to give thanks to the fans and they think that the award was given to them by Ahgase. They promised to keep on working hard and never change.
The third Daesang grand price is, The Artist of the Year won by TWICE, came back with the track "Feel Special". Being one of the KPOP's hard-working idol groups seems to pay off as TWICE won awards left and right.

Momo said, "Thank you for giving us such a big award even though we're lacking. Though Mina wasn't able to join us." Mina's health is a priority and hope she could fully recover from it.

The fourth Daesang grand price is, The Winning Album of the Year won by SEVENTEEN with their recent album "An Ode", is their third album released on September 16, 2019, and the group expresses the emotion of fear as a poison that pushes away one's most beloved people.

The members said, "We thank AAA and Star news for giving us a great award, and we truly thank Carats for making us shine brightly." They are very proud that they make their own album, which makes them even happier for such an amazing award.

The fifth Daesang grand price is, The Winner of the Actor of the Year award won by Jang Dong Gun for the drama Arthal Chronicles, where he starred as the characters Ta Gon. The 2019 tvN drama was successful.

The actor said, "I thank everyone who loved Arthal Chronicles." He also said that the drama was a new challenge for everyone and the award will definitely give comfort. Everyone has positive sides, but we also live in hardships. Because of that, he would like to encourage everyone to overcome them without feeling discouraged.

Winning in front of fans from abroad makes the award ceremony more important to the artists.
