On December 8, EXO's Kai went on Instagram Live to have a broadcast for EXO-Ls, however, the fans have noticed that the singer looked uncomfortable. During the broadcast, Kai mentioned that there were "sasaengs" outside their dormitory. He then politely asked them to leave or he will call the police.

This is not the first time the group has encountered this kind of problem. However, EXO shared that they already sometimes get scared to go home or walk outside their dorms due to "sasengs." They also fear for their family's safety. Just recently, the group's dorm has been invaded and CCTV cameras have since been installed even in their hotel rooms. 

Fans and netizens were supportive of Kai's decision to call the police and urged the singer to immediately contact officials and ask help.
