While the "Produce" series vote manipulation scandal's investigation is ongoing, the Seoul district police will also investigate "Idol School."

On December 10, chief of police Lee Yong Pyo announced, "We are currently investigating and analyzing all information and data we have gathered. Right now, we are looking into the possibilities that manipulations were also involved in Idol School."

The police have already forwarded the Produce case to prosecutors after they found out that vote manipulation and illegal ways were involved in the running of the show.
