It has been six months after Hanbin or popularly known as B.I. of the Korean boy group iKON left his group after some controversies arise starting last June 12th this year.

During that time, a screen capture of his conversation with a persona was leaked by Dispatch about him buying an illegal drug. Y.G. Entertainment then terminated his contract afterward, and he had no choice but left the group, along with his public apology letter, without a confirmation whether the rumor is true, as well as no evidence and proofs from police were released.

This has become a tremendous topic all over the K-pop industry, and fans of the boy group iKON, specifically to Hanbin, have to undergo thorns and needles to prove his innocence, as well as the fight against this malicious controversy. A daily hashtag for the rapper has been circulating through Twitter as a sign that his fans are still waiting for his comeback.

As their "Love Scenario" song was released, it topped the Gaon Chart for Six weeks, all without failure, and iKON has been the first idol group to reach this achievement, thanks to Hanbin, who wrote the lyrics of the song. Funny thing is it was also banned at school for its catchy tunes that Kindergartens have been singing nonstop. The song has been recognized in the Billboard music chart, Apple's Music, and China Q.Q. Music Chart.

3.Winning the first "Songwriter of the Year 2018" Award for Melon Music Award

During 2018' MMA, Hanbin has been finally recognized as the "Songwriter of the Year," which was given during the Melon Music Award Show. This has become one of the best and most memorable events that happened to the rapper, along with his beloved iKONIC. In addition to this outstanding award, Hanbin was the first idol that received this title from MMA.

Meanwhile, a report from a known Billboard columnist said that the rapper is doing well, and is planning to make music again. This shines a little hope for iKONIC, and the fans were already pledging to buy his musical instruments and apparatus to start his career over again and as a form of support to their beloved idol.
