"I actually have a trauma." Said Yunho as he admitted he hasn't overcome a trauma caused by the incident where he almost died once due to an obsessed fan.

The member of the legendary second-generation pop Duo TVXQ Yunho, or also known as U-KNOW, is known for being one of the passionate artists under SM Entertainment along SHINee's Choi Minho and Super Junior's Siwon.

However, despite his fierce and energetic personality as a Korean pop idol, which brought him as one of the most respected and highly appreciated Korean superstars, being a famous personality does also have a disadvantage. 

For the past week, netizens were commenting a lot on YouTube due to the traumatic incident Yunho has experienced.

During the seventh episode of his show "Analogue trip," along with Super Junior, that was released two months ago, they were set to overcome a tunnel during their stay in Indonesia. During this episode, Yunho has been noticeable for being quiet, and dizzy as they were in the abyss, not knowing that the darkness and the narrow space will trigger the idol's trauma. Thus, here's the story behind that event. 

Way back 2006, as DBSK, (his former group) released their third album, a lady in her 20s came as they had their music show recording's break. The lady gave him an orange drink, and as an idol, it was an honor to receive something from a fan, though as he drank it, the trauma that hunted him up till now will be created.

The lady disguised herself as a "fan," though she's actually an anti-fan. TVXQ Yunho was rushed to an ER of a hospital after vomiting and spitting blood due to the drink, and the investigation's result was the drink has a super glue with it. 

U-KNOW has to stay for a couple of days in the hospital as he received treatment and for his recovery.

After the incident, Yunho has been afraid of taking a 'drink.' He did share that did bring him terror and is questioning if why does it have to happen to him, which causes him also to think of leaving the industry.

Not long after, the girl turned in herself, and claimed it as a "prank," not knowing that the idol will drink it. 

Super Junior Heechul, who was a very close friend and a brother figure to Yunho expressed his anger for the lady through a letter, in which he says, 

"Are you insane? Or you've just rotted so much that your brain has rotten, too.", stated in her letter as he let go of his frustrations.

Meanwhile, Yunho, as the years passed, overcome little by little his trauma with the help of his co-member Changmin, as well as Super Junior, who is always on his side. 

Lastly, in the episode, as they reached the top of the tunnel, people around Yunho pulled him rather than using a machine, and this just proved that the artists' brotherhood is still solid and will always remain like that. Through this experience, netizens were hoping that he'll be able to overcome it with the support of his fans and friend as well.
