SM Entertainment Reveals Plans For Their Artists In The Year 2020

SM Entertainment has revealed plans for their label artists after the new year. To start the year 2020, Red Velvet can be expected to focus on promoting in national television in various music shows and will also continue to promote overseas after the success of their latest title song "Psycho" from the 3rd part of their series "The ReVe Festival." 

However, the fans are still waiting for the recovery of one of the members, Wendy, as she got injured when she fell off the stage during the rehearsals for SBS Gayo Daejun held at Gocheok Sky Dome in Guro-gu. 

The accident occurred three days after Red Velvet's comeback with its new song, causing Wendy's activities to be suspended and the Red Velvet's activities to change. Concerns are also rising as future treatment is expected to continue for a long time as the degree of injury is severe.

In addition to this, NCT will be returning with more domestic and overseas promotions with a change in NCT Dream's lineup as well as the possibility of a new unit. EXO is planning more concerts, and Girls' Generation will focus on individual promotions.

SHINee's Minho, Key and Onew will finally be discharged from their military service this year, and these SHINee members are expected to come back with an album. Taemin, a member of the group SHINee, is preparing for a solo comeback as well this first quarter of the year.

"Tae-min is preparing for a new album," an official of the agency SM Entertainment adding that the company will release the schedule of its comeback as soon as it is finalized. Earlier in the day, a media outlet reported that Taemin was working on a new album to come back in March, but the schedule for his comeback has yet to be fixed, according to his agency.

The group Super Junior is preparing a new album as their exclusive agency Label SJ said that Super Junior is scheduled to release its ninth full-length repackaged album in late January. Super Junior, which released its ninth full-length album last October "Time_Slip," will make its comeback after about three months. The corresponding album has gained much popularity by topping major local music charts. The tracks are not revealed yet to which song will be added to the new album. 

Super Junior, whose members have all finished their military, has been working hard not only in singing but also in the entertainment industry. Since its debut in Seoul in February 2008, Super Junior's brand concert "Super Show" has been held more than 140 times in more than 30 cities around the world, including Bangkok, Manila, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, London, Paris, Mexico City, Santiago and Saudi Arabia, achieving a triumph that has surpassed the 2 million mark in cumulative attendance.

SM Entertainment has also shared that their new girl group will be likely to debut this year. This said new girl group would mark as first to debut from SM Group since Red Velvet from 6 years ago.
