It's 2020 already, but the long-running inside jokes about BTS Jimin and TWICE Jeongyeon between the two fandoms, ARMY and ONCE were not yet done. During the waiting period for Dispatch New Year Couple, memes regarding the two idols surfaces in different social media platforms, implying that the two are going to have a boxing match finally amidst other dating controversies being linked to other idols.

1. BTS x TWICE participation in Music Bank

A popular video has been circulating online wherein during a short interview with BTS, and TWICE is present there as well. It has been noticed that during the snippet of BTS "Spring Day", Jimin with the other members were singing and it's funny how Jeongyeon sings the end of their song [loudly] while cheering, and Jimin then looks at her with a confused face. Meanwhile, Jeongyeon then felt the awkward atmosphere when the lyrics go "bogoshipda ( I miss you)" and Jimin glanced towards her again. 

However, this happened in the year 2017. After fans noticed that there's something going on, they have made a compilation video of the interactions of the two idols and realized the undeniable tension or "beef",just how fans address it. 

2. INKIGAYO Music Show

During Inkigayo, Jeongyeon, together with her sister Seungyeon, as the MC had an interview with BTS, who were promoting for their album. When BTS was asked to rap, Jeongyeon then mimics BTS and Jimin who is on the side laugh at the female idol. 

3. V Live Broadcast of TWICE and Music Core

TWICE made a live while dancing BTS songs, and while doing it, Jeongyeon was straightforward on showing how he hated the idea. She was uncomfortable at first, and then meanwhile, she started dancing as well. Later on, she disappeared after seeing something from the screen they were looking at, and it was noticeable how Nayeon pointed at her while laughing. 

In addition to this, while in their waiting area during a show, TWICE were casually watching not until Jimin appeared and TWICE suddenly looked at Jeongyeon with meaningful eyes. 

Moreover, there are a lot of videos from social media outlets showing the love-hate relationship of the two idols.
