The Korean idol group BIGBANG was selected to be a part of the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival lineup. It is the largest music festival in the United States.

On January 3rd, YG Entertainment officially stated, "The group BIGBANG, specifically G-Dragon, Sun, Pagoda, and Daesung, has been invited to join the lineup of the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival which will be held in Indio, California from April 10-19 of this year."

The official social media sites of Coachella has also posted a poster featuring the festival's lineup. BIGBANG is included and is expected to perform twice on April 10 and 17. Other bands and singers included were Rage Against The Machine, Travis Scott, Frank Ocean, Calvin Harris, and Lana Del Rey.

Meanwhile, the Coachella Festival was first launched in 1999 and has since been known as a festival that attracts 200,000 to 300,000 viewers from all around the globe yearly.
