On January 8, JYPE stated:

"Hi, this is from JYP Entertainment. Today, we have already pressed charges at the Seoul Gangnam Police against TWICE's Nayeon's stalker. The charges made were under the Criminal Act Article #314.

Apart from that, we have also filed and asked for a restraining order at the Seoul Central District Court yesterday."

It was previously reported that Nayeon's foreign stalker continuously bugged her regardless of all the warnings JYP and the police have given him. He also boarded a plane on the 1st day of January and caused a ruckus on board saying he wanted to see Nayeon again.

Due to this, JYP has taken legal actions and has said, "We will make sure to do all possible measures to make sure that our artists are safe."
