"You did it as well," growing up with the same person is quite amusing, but being able to reach a dream together with them after going through ups and downs is on another level. Well, BLACKPINK Lisa and GOT7 BAMBAM, both members of a famous Korean boy band went precisely the same, and their friendship will make you say that it is indeed a #Friendship Goals.

In this regard, here's a brief background of the relationship between the two idols that were both the support system before and after stepping on the limelight.

1. Lisa and BAMBAM were friends for over 12 years

BAMBAM, who debuted under JYP Entertainment last 2014 as a member of Got7, and Lisa, who make it to BLACKPINK under YG Entertainment previous 2016, both confirmed that they both know each other even before their trainee days and their debut. 

Lisa and Bambam were both Thai, wherein half of their childhood days were spent in Thailand under a dance group for kids named "We Za Cool." They met as both members of the Thailand-based group, where Bambam and Lisa first met.

Fun fact, Even if both idols were under the 97' line up, BAMBAM used to call Lisa "Older sister," for it was undeniable that the female idol was taller than him during their childhood days. 

Though, puberty hits, and BAMBAM grew up as a tall and visual-popping man. 

2. Lisa and BAMBAM families were close to each other

Even before debuting as K-pop idols, their Thai families were already close to each other, wherein photos that were gotten by some fans prove that BAMBAM and Lisa's families were seen hanging out together. 

3. Going Stronger as the Years Passed Through 

Even if BAMBAM and Lisa grew up as childhood friends, the tendency that after being scouted and being a trainee for each other's agency, their friendship will also grow apart. BAMBAM debuted two years beforehand Lisa, having the senior and junior relationship in the K-pop industry, the awkward atmosphere may surface. 

But Lisa and BAMBAM were friends as they were, and even they should act professional on-stage, they don't forget to acknowledge each other. 

Fan-cam videos are circulating online, showing their short interactions, evident in their closeness. 

In addition to this, last year, they also shared that they were under the same group chat, "thais living in Korea," wherein other Thai-member of a K-pop band were also included, such as NCT Ten, 2PM Nickhun and CLC Sorn. Checking and hanging out with each other. 

In October 2019, Lisa and BAMBAM finally met each other on the same stage, in celebration for AIS30th, wherein they showed a more extended interaction and even took photos with each other.

4. Both were each support-system offstage

When Lisa received and experience racist comments, hate feedbacks about her looks and race, BAMBAM expressed his support for Lisa by encouraging her and letting her know that more people are loving her and recognized her excellent heart rather than those who hate her. 

BAMBAM also joke about treating her on a meal though it hasn't been confirmed it they did.
