The Chinese fan club of BTS' Jungkook community said that they have already extended emergency donations to Wuhan, the source of the new coronavirus, and deliver donations and supplies for the residents in the area.

The new pneumonic coronavirus, which broke out in Wuhan, China, was confirmed to have entered Korea on Sunday. This virus caused the panic from the people all around the world as it has reportedly confirmed cases more than 2,000 people in China alone are affected and 56 deaths as of January 27. This issue has spread rapidly around the world as more confirmed cases continue to occur in Korea, following Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, and Thailand.

Common human coronavirus has caused mild to moderate upper respiratory symptoms, including the common cold and severe types that can cause pneumonia and death. This strain of the virus is called 2019-nCoV for now, which is short for "2019 novel coronavirus," and is only the third strain of coronavirus known to cause severe symptoms in humans frequently.

As Chinese President Xi Jinping mentioned, some say it is challenging to deal with the epidemic as it has already spread across China and throughout the world. However, the resources in China are being mobilized in addition to the national emergency. Amid this situation, confusion is mounting for China. As doctors are getting infected one after another, officials are also affected and are punished for the lack of initial response they get to handle their patients.

However, it is encouraging that all of China's ministries are belatedly engaged in a war to prevent and control the infectious diseases, speeding up follow-up measures such as blocking areas of problems such as Wuhan and other regions, as well as launching vaccine development.

The area of Wuhan in China's Hubei province, the epicenter of the "pneumonia," has grown at a rapid pace, and is unable to handle the flood of designated hospitals' facilities and medical staff. Xi, in particular, ordered the front-line leaders to wake up and work straight on the scene, ordering all related drugs and supplies to be mobilized. In Hunan, there seems to be a string of reprimands against the officials amid unfavorable orders from Xi Jinping's leadership, including the suspension of the director of the sanitary and phytosanitary bureau, who failed to deal with "pneumonia" prevention and quarantine measures in time.

On Monday, Jungkook China, the biggest fan club in China for BTS, said that they have already donated 52,000 Yuan, which is about 8.77 Million Won for the affected residents of the Wuhan community. Jungkook China then said it outsourced not only donations but also certified local suppliers to deliver professional medical supplies to hospitals in need. Another fan club for BTS called GOLDEN ALLIANCE PH sent its gifts to the Philippine Red Cross in the name of Goods From Jungkook to recover from the disaster in the Philippines on January 14, and fans around the world are celebrating Jungkook Day.

Such good influence of BTS and the political situation is also crazy for the fandom, which pays attention to and contributes to the world's disasters. With this act, netizens who have heard the news are praising it as a mature fandom culture.
