Nothing good ever lasts forever, and this also goes with these K-pop groups that broke up over the years. Featuring new groups and the best Kpop groups, this list of disbanded Kpop groups will bring you memories of better times when they are happily performing on stage with their ever-supportive fans. Which group do you miss the most?

 1. 2NE1

The girls were last seen as a full group at the star-studded 2015 MAMA in Hong Kong, where they performed their stage for the audience. Their appearance initially led Blackjacks, the official Fan Club of 2NE1, to believe that a 2NE1 comeback was looming, but YG Entertainment was quick to extinguish the rumors.

Former member CL also mentioned that the group was "completely broken" as it was not easy for her because the group was "all she had" in her life. The members kept on seeing each other and have gone on different promotions for the past years. When Park Bomhas recently come back last year, BlackJacks showed how they missed them.

2. SISTAR

The K-pop queens of summer who are famous for their songs "Touch My Body" and "Shake It" is calling it quits, but having one last hooray before they go. Coming to an end after seven years together, Sistar announced on 23rd of May of 2017; the four members will go separate ways following a final single that they held in the same month. After the release, Hyolyn, Soyou, Dasom, and Bora went on their paths, pursuing individual careers after their contracts with Starship Entertainment came to an end.

 3. BAP

Two months after the expiration of Zelo's contract, the contracts of the remaining four members of BAP (Himchan, Daehyun, Youngjae, Jongup) have all confirmed to expire, which means all of the BAP members have left TS Entertainment. TS Entertainment released its statement, confirming all the members have now ended their exclusive contracts, and they will not renew their contracts in the agency.

 4. Wanna One

It has been exactly a year since the Produce 101 Season 2 Project Wanna One officially disbanded in 2019 after they ended their final concert called "Therefore," which left fans crying for more on its very last stage. The group is known for being powerful rookies as they break records one after another. Swing Entertainment, confirmed that Wanna One's contract expired on the 31st of December 2018. And the agency voiced its gratitude to the members Yoon Jisung, Ha Sungwoon, Hwang Minhyun, Ong Seongwu, Kim Jaehwan, Kang Daniel, Park Jihoon, Park Woojin, Bae Jinyoung, Lee Daehwi, and Lai Kuanlin.

"We wanted to thank the 11 members of Wanna One, who have shown everyone the best of themselves for a year and a half, from August 2017 to now," the agency said. As of 2020, the members have gone on their separate agencies and officially made their solo debut, group debut, and acting debut for the first year since their disbandment. Wannables, the official Wanna One's Fan Club, have their tears fall from their last concert seeing them cry on stage saying their last words but seeing them flourish on their own and perform on stages once again, it plainly shows how their fans always have "Forever, Wanna One" in their minds.

5. X1

Last year, after X1 formed in Produce X 101, it was revealed that the show got rigged in favor of some contestants, and some reports were brought up about bribery and backstage deals between show's staff and music management companies. And so, SWING Entertainment released their official statement, "The X1 members' agencies have talked under the condition of unanimous agreement, but we could not agree, so we have decided on their disbandment."

One Its, the official Fan Club of the group, have always stood up and made numerous ways to bring back X1, as they were in shock about the immediate disbandment of the group and trended various hashtags to show support for the members.  Individual members of the group left video messages and have acknowledged the hashtags trended by the fans. Play M Entertainment, Yuehua Entertainment, TOP Entertainment, DSP Entertainment, MBK Entertainment, Woolim Entertainment, OUI Entertainment, Starship Entertainment, and Brand New Music has no choice but to have this agreement in between them.
