Ailee responds with a powerful message to those netizens who kept on commenting on her recent post with hate and criticism, wherein she posted a photo of her together with the foreigner singer Chris Brown during the 62nd Grammy Awards which is held annually.

The Korean artist-singer Ailee attended the event, where she also got the opportunity to take a photo with other artists, including BTS performance with Lil Nas X, Billie Eilish, and Chris Brown. She then posted the photos in her Instagram account. However, instead of receiving sweet comments, she received criticism from the netizens for supporting Chris Brown, who is involved with recent incidents of violence against women.

Chris Brown, aside from being a famous musician who sings "Ayo" and "No Guidance," is also known for assaulting his former partner Rihanna, who is also a well-known artist and suffered several bruises on her face after being maltreated by the male singer in his car. Due to this incident, Chris's past life was dug, and it was said that he has a history of assaulting women.

After the female singer's post backlash and gain negative feedback from her followers, she edited the caption of the photo and said,

"Edit for the last time! When I said, "he WAS one of the artists I enjoyed listening while growing up, and that is a fact that will never change."

She then added, "I meant the fact that I enjoyed his music when I was younger would never change."

In addition to this, she denied Chris Brown by saying she does not know anything about his recent issues about him assaulting women.

"The only thing on my mind was literally, 'oh wow! CB! [Chris Brown] I used to love his songs.!' I DO NOT and WILL NOT support women, men, pet, animal or any other kind of abusers and the ONLY reason I am keeping up this post up is to clarify the reason I took this photo in the first place."

Ailee also clarified that she does not think lightly of any abuses, and this is a straight-up statement that she supports the MUSIC of Chris Brown, but not the singer and his wrongdoings.

To close his caption, she pleaded the haters and other netizens who were commenting and posting something against her and told them to leave her alone.

Meanwhile, Chris Brown saw Ailee's clarification statement on her caption and commented on the post saying, "CORNBALL."

In North America, 'Cornball' is a slang used to say that a person is being overly sentimental or describing someone in a corny or silly way. It may also mean like saying a person is unsophisticated/ just being corny.

What Chris Brown wants to say is not really specified, though some netizens were saying the word means that a person just wants fame and using other people to get that desire.
