During the Seoul Music Awards held last January 30 which participated by several successful and well-known Korean artists and idol groups, fans and netizens notice the awkward atmosphere when one of the show's MC Dongyup, throw a joke to Super Junior Heechul, which is one of the MC of the ceremony as well. 

During the spills of the MCs, Dongyup teases Heechul, that he is probably pleased to see someone inside the event. As TWICE was also present at the Awarding show, it was evident to everyone that Dongyup was teasing the male idol about his dating relationship with a member of the female group TWICE which was confirmed at the start of the year. 

Heechul was then taken aback but was able to revert the situation by responding that he was happy to see his members in Super Junior, who also attended the event. 

Super Junior's reaction after hearing the joke turns to be okay, as they are laughing and nodding to acknowledge what Heechul has claimed, making sense as he was not able to join the team's comeback and world tour, "Super Show 8" due to his injuries.

However, TWICE members were seemingly not happy about it.

On a video posted by TWICE fansite and was already circulating in social media platforms, TWICE Nayeon and Jihyo were noticeably angry after the joke the MC said, having the straight face throughout the conversation, while Dahyun and Chaeyoung were forcing their smiles. Tzuyu and Jungyeon were then worried while their eyes wondered to the crowd who were cheering loudly. 

Meanwhile, Momo was frozen and then, later on, started staring at the air while trying to hold back her tears. 

Fans have divided comments about the video, wherein some netizens said that they should be used to comments about it from now on after admitting to the public their relationship. 

However, on the other side, fans think that MC Dongyup has been insensitive to saying the joke, even though it is not mean, for Momo recently revealed that after her dating status has been set to the others, she has been feeling anxious and developed fear on the crowd. 

Fans also think that this is the Music Award was not the right place to make jokes about their relationship, wherein several people were watching, and TWICE has been through a lot recently, including sorts of stalking, controversies, and personal information leakage of the other members. 

On the other hand, amidst this issue, TWICE received their fourth consecutive Bonsang Award, after getting it annually since 2017. The worldwide group also prepared their stage for the show, showing their talent as they dance to "Feel Special."

Dahyun, during their speech, says, "I hope 2020 will be filled with good things for all of us like receiving this award." She also thanked their fans Onces who have a share of their awards. 

Nayeon also revealed their 2020 plans, and that is to, "We are still on tour this 2020, so we will finish the remaining of our tour in good health and work harder to show you all a good and new image."
