1. Kai & Jennie

The news of Kai and Jennie's relationship went viral because they revealed it on New Year's Day, and then just a few days after, on the 26th of January, they announced their break up. This quick and sudden revelation broke many fans' hearts as they discovered that the two started dating privately in October 2019.

2. Lee Dongwook & Suzy

The two actors' relationship was sudden, sweet, and short. They confirmed their relationship in March 2018 and ended it quickly just four months into dating. The reason was due to busy schedules, and Lee Dongwook was starring in JTBC's "Life" while Suzy had the leading role in SBS' "Vagabond."

3. Eddy Kim & Sojin

The two met in August 2016 while filming for a TV program called "I Am a Movie Director Too: Youth Movie." Shortly after, they were spotted spending time together in Eddy's car or Sojin's apartment. They confirmed their relationship in 2017 and ended it eight months later on the 27th of December.

4. Kai & Krystal

When Dispatch revealed the news, a lot of people thought it was an April's Fools joke since the announcement landed on the 1st of April, but the couple's company immediately confirmed it. Kai and Krystal both belong in idol groups that are under SM Entertainment.

The two worked on several projects together even before they dated and have been friends for over eight years. It was a shock to everyone that after a year of dating, their agency confirmed their break up. The reason was due to both sides having busy schedules and no time for each other.

5. Jang Kiha & IU

Despite having an 11-year age gap, these two artists found themselves falling in love with each other. The two started dating in March 2015, and they were captured in parking lots going to and from their partner's residence. However, after four years of on and off dating, both agencies confirmed their break up on the 23rd of January 2017.

6. Baekhyun & Taeyeon

Baekhyun and Taeyeon were labelmates and the first official couple announced by SM Entertainment. It all began in June 2014 when their company released a statement of their dating status. Unfortunately, this enraged a lot of fans and resulted in a lot of negative backlash for the two. Still, they continued to date publicly for more than a year before calling it quits in September 2015 amid their busy idol schedules.

7. Lee Minho & Suzy

On the 22nd of March, 2015, the relationship between veteran actor Lee Minho and Suzy, who was a part of Miss A at the time, was suddenly exposed to the public. The couple was just a month into dating when photos of them together in London were revealed.

Their agencies denied the allegations a few times but later confirmed that the two were, in fact, dating. They lasted almost three years before they broke up a few months before the actor was due to enlist in the military. Rumors of their reconciliation arise, but it all remained unconfirmed.
