On the 16th of February, singer Generation X, a contestant of the music show, "The King of Mask Singer," was revealed to be Kim Heechul!

Fans are then hyping up with Super Junior member Kim Heechul's undying visuals showcasing his godly hairstyle, and "eternal youth" face following his appearance to the show.

Heechul has been gaining positive feedbacks for living up until now to his nickname, which is 'flower handsome boy', and the photos captured by fans are the evidence of his label. 

Meanwhile, during the broadcast of the show, contestant Generation X showed off his singing skills and has been able to advance to the first and second round that was aired for the recent episodes. However, after competing for the third round, he lost to another contestant hidden under the name Brachiosaurus with the score 55-44. When Generation X took off his mask, the audience and viewers are shocked to see the male idol.

The panels, including Yoo Young Seok, Chungha, Kim Tae Won, and others, are amazed by his appearance. 

After the broadcast, Kim Heechul participated in an interview along with Exsports News; the male idol shared his feelings and thoughts after joining the show. 

"When I took off my mask and saw the lights and the audience, I felt happy [...] I would like to express my sincere gratitude to those who gave me the opportunity and to all who applauded." 

In addition to this, Heechul, who is currently in hiatus from the group following his injury and dating issue with TWICE Momo, also revealed that he got his strength and motivation to participate in the show from his co-member Kyuhyun, who joined "King of Mask Singers" beforehand. 

"I don't know about my singing voice, that's why I am not confident to sing. Recently, Kyuhyun, who became an active part of the show, recommended me to join as well. He gave me the confidence to sing."

Furthermore, he also shared his feelings and longing to sing again on a stage following his restrictions due to his leg surgery, which is an aftermath of his past car accident. 

"I wasn't able to get on the stage due to the accident. I was a long time since I took off my mask, and I felt so happy, I knew for sure that I love singing when I am in front of the crowd.", he then thanked his fans for making him happy again. 

On the other hand, it was revealed that the male idol is set to release his solo song, but because of feeling sorry after his dating confirmation with the female idol Momo, he held its release date and schedules to prepare for an extended time. 

Fans and netizens though wish that he will be able to come back again to the group with a healthier physical state, as well as he can be able to find his inspiration and strength from his group and fans to release his song, which is beforehand confirmed to be titled as, " Flower Petal" which will be focusing on flowers, interwoven with him as the flower and his fans as his "Petals."
