On the 18th of February, the K-pop rapper-songwriter, who is also a member of the well-known BTS Jhope, celebrates his 26th birthday together with his fans. 

The male idol trended worldwide, taking over 9 out of 10 hashtags for Twitter trending topics. Fans and netizens celebrate with him around the world through sending greeting messages through different social media platforms, as well as fan sites organized party and cup sleeves events, celebrating the idol's special day with their co-ARMYs.

In addition to this, some also made donations in honor of the influential K-pop member. A Korean media reported that the male idol fans donated a huge sum of money accumulating 13 Million Won or approximately $11,000 from more or less 400 fans around the world. 

On the same day, Jhope then turned on a Vlive live broadcast to communicate with his international fans, thanking his fans and supporters for the love and gifts he had received. 

"I always say this, but when fans greet me happy birthday, I feel so happy... this year and last year." In addition to this, he named the Vlive broadcast, "I love you, Jhope."

Moreover, Jhope shared his birthday celebration so far, revealing that he enjoyed a homemade meal for breakfast, with a seaweed soup that is a must for Korean birthday celebrants. 

The male idol proceeds to talk while reading some comments. Later on, Jhope then shared with his fans that this year, he's planning and hoping to meet his special someone. Fans and netizens are then flustered following idol's statement, feeling mixed emotions.

The majority are happy and excited to see Jhope's blossoming love life, while other fans and supporters are a little bit sad to know that other than ARMYs, Jhope will be giving his attention to his future partner, and there will be a distance between him and his fans. Though, overall, fans assure Jhope that no matter what his decision is, ARMYs will always support him. 

On the other hand, BTS will be having their comeback on the 21st of February, and during Jhope's live broadcast, he shared about his preparation and feelings for their upcoming album, "MAP of the SOUL:7", which will be concluding their MAP of the SOUL series. 

He said, 

"I am not myself these days, to work on our new album, of course, we have already finished recording, we have been practicing the dance but, to show you the best performance we are working hard."

Jhope also revealed that the process of their comeback is tough, harder than promoting it. He talked about the pressure the other members felt as well before promotion, with the fans' satisfaction in mind while preparing their album.

When asked to give his viewers and fans a spoiler for their upcoming album, Jhope replied, 

"I will give you greater joy. It will be thrilling."

Fans are then persistent to have a spoiler from the rapper, but then, Jhope just shook his head, and answered the fan while smiling, "You should listen to our album yourself."
