Exo's Management SM Entertainment Released their official statement in regard to the boy band' group and their plans for them in the future. 

On February 20, SM Entertainment made its official statement to the media. 

"Hello. this is SM Entertainment.

This statement is about the EXO members and the management in regards to the Future plan for EXO. 

As EXO's Agency, we are prioritizing our members' opinions and their important personal matters as well as the whole team's activities. 

Before Chen officially announced his marriage, there had been a discussion that happened between EXO members and our management.

Although the EXO members did experience the pain of seeing their co-members leave, they still have the intention that they want and will continue to be as a group pp as they have until now. 

The Management Agency also respects the decision of the members and there will be no changes in EXO's line up.

Also, there are members who have military enlistment coming up. So we have planned for this since last year that the EXO's activities this year will be focusing more on solo and unit activities only. 

Until then we will announce the member's activities one by one. 

EXO members will still continue to be promoted as EXO, solo artists and units, and they will pay back all the love and support of the fans. 

We will also be giving them our full support for their growth and their peace.

Following the reports last January when the news about EXO member Chen says that he is about to get married to his non-showbiz fiancee and that the girl is seven months pregnant to their first child.

Due to the sudden news their agency, SM Entertainment released a statement regarding Chen's plan to get married. 

"Hello this is SM Entertainment. 

Chen met someone so dear to him and that he is soon to be getting married. His bride is a non-celebrity and wishes for privacy as they will be doing the wedding in private with their close friends and families.

With respect to their wishes we are not announcing anything that is related to the wedding, so we ask for the fans and reporter's understanding to consider their opinions. 

Chen will still be an artist and will continue to work hard. 

We ask you to send him your blessings and messages for the upcoming wedding.

EXO member Chen also broke his silence in a handwritten letter announcing the news about his marriage and apologizes to his supporters. 

"Hello, this is Chen. 

I am writing this because I have something to tell my fans. I don't know where to begin and I am very nervous. Although I know these words are not enough, I still want my fans to know to come from me, the fans who supported me and showed their love from the very beginning.

I have a girlfriend that I want to spend the rest of my whole life with, and I was really worried and anxious about what could happen after the results of my decision. To let you know I had been talking to my agency and to my other co-members about this because I don't want to surprise you all with the sudden news. 

I had planned a lot with the agency and other EXO members but due to a responsibility that came my way, those plans are postponed for the meantime and that I have to focus to the biggest blessing I have ever received. 

I am thinking about when or how should I tell my fans so I gathered all my strength and courage to finally tell you all about this. 

I am really grateful to my co-members for congratulating me after hearing the news, and I thank all my fans for letting me know that I am loved despite the late announcement. 

I will never forget this and will still do my best without changing, and I will soon return all the love and support you have shown and given me.
