The "Queen of SM" Entertainment, BoA, revealed that during her debut, the Biggest Entertainment company, SM Entertainment, has invested a large sum of money for her, reaching 3 Billion Won or approximately 2.5 Million US Dollars.

This was revealed by the global female artist herself on the 19th of February episode of actor Lee Dong Wook's show, "Because I want to Talk." The "Asian Star" BoA appeared as a guest to the show, and during the broadcast, she also shared about her thoughts and feelings as an idol, as well as look back to the past before her debut. 

During the show, Lee Dong Wook, who is the host of the program told boA,

"I heard that the company had invested 3 Billion on your first album that was released in 2000."

BoA then replied, "The numbers weren't really felt by my skin, for I was so young when I debuted." Though BoA replied that she is confident for she made a lot of money after debuting and releasing her first album. 

Meanwhile, celebrating her 20th debut anniversary, BoA reminisces her youth as an idol. She confessed that during her debut days, her fans went alone to cheer her and see her performance. As the years go by, she witnessed her fans having their special someone until having their family as well.

"My fans came alone to my performances until they would tag along with their partner, and then the next time, they would bring their child. I also witness my fans meeting in my fan club then becoming a couple, while some of my dancers got married as well."

"Before the question, I would ask my fans is if they study hard, but later on, I'll ask them about their work."

Furthermore, Lee Dong Wook then help BoA reminisce about her past by showing her video during her debut, her past attendance to a music show, as well as talked about how she became an idol at a very young age.

BoA then revealed that SM Entertainment contacted her first, among the 20 companies who tried to scout her. She was able to have her debut through the agency, is now staying for 20 years and counting. She is not only an artist now of SM but the pioneer and pillar of the huge company, who helped the agency to become more prominent with the number of sales she was producing after consecutive successful albums. 

Dong Wook and BoA, together with co-host Jang Do Yeon watched the idol's videos, and during the broadcast, her first performance for "No.1" was shown, a clip that was kept by the SBS channel. In addition to this, her video winning her first Daesang or Grand prize was also shown, revealing that after winning, she went home and sleep. 

Lastly, the interview ended with sharing to his fans and the hosts what she's doing when she has free time, amidst her busy schedules domestically and internationally. BoA then revealed that she was a homebody and loved resting inside her house.
