On the 21st of February, it was reported by an online comment translator, Knetizen, the site that translates comments found in Korean News websites such as Naver, Pann, and other platforms, that Shindong received hate comments as well as negative feedback following the male idol's post in his Instagram story that caused another ruckus from netizens.

In the personal Instagram account of the Super Junior member's Shindong, he uploaded a gif or moving picture together with his friend, wherein they have tried one of the popular filters in Insta, the "twerking nose."

Several fans think that it was a good laugh, and Shindong seems to be enjoying using the filter, laughing at his face.

It supposed to be hilarious then, though some K-netizens perceived it the other way around, and even leading to a Korean news portal to post the male idol's stories also, with a caption, "Weird Filter."

It has not been long ago since the idol was put in the spotlight, following the incredible weight loss he had that caused fans and netizens to praise him and give him lots of encouragement to become entirely successful in his goal.

Now, he is back to the limelight, creating headlines after K-netizens threw hate comments on him, involving him being a crazy, pervert, and even body-shamed him by calling Shindong's fat.

Some of the comments were,

"There isn't anything normal from Super Junior. They are just here because they used to have several popular songs way back. They could have just disbanded just from Choi Siwon."

A K-netizen also expressed how Shindong was difficult to like way back then.

"Shindong was never likable ever since until today."

In addition to this, a netizen also attached a screenshot photo of Shindong's past interview, giving his thoughts and opinions about a body. From the picture, it was highlighted that the male idol said,

"Fat women are like that because they don't know how to manage themselves [...], but it is okay for a man to be fat." It was evident that the netizen was mocking the Super junior member, after being ironic, following his weight loss program.

Moreover, a commentator also wrote, "He looks so fat.", body shaming and even portraying that despite losing huge grams of weight, he can't also regulate his own body.

Furthermore, K-netizens called Shindong pervert and disgusting as well, for using the filter, adjusting his nose back and forth to make the girl's butt in the filter to twerk.

Meanwhile, fans of the idol felt enraged after making this small issue like a huge controversy.

ELFs, as well as Shindong's supporters, commented on the website protecting and siding with the idol, expressing their disbelief to his haters.

"[user @)09] There's nothing wrong with him using the filter, they are simply having fun. Besides, it is just a filter. Instead of making controversy like this, why not tell those people to stop creating filters like this."

"[user Raisa Buana] Everybody uses this filter! Some actually draw it on their nose, and none give it much attention. But just because it is a K-pop idol, you all need to make it controversial? Shame on you!"
