Dong Young-bae, best known for his stage name as "Taeyang" really proved his care for humanity is endless. Humanity restored! 

BIGBANG singer Taeyang has made it to the headlines when he donated all of his money made from his charity flea market and fundraising auction, that was held on January 18 at Pier59 Studios.

On February 24, Taeyang made a profit of 60 million won ($49,504) from the fundraising he organized that received a lot of support from his fans and co-KPOP Stars Sandara Park, AKMU, WINNER, iKON, CL and IONE who donated some of his personal items for Taeyang's event. the Social Welfare Organization held in Seoul, Korea. 

According to Taeyang, the donations will be used for artificial cochlear surgery and language rehabilitation for children and teenagers who have hearing difficulties. Taeyang added, "I am glad to be able to share my blessings and be able to do good meaningful events with my fans. I hope that this donation will reach and help children and teenagers who suffer from hearing loss." 

Snails of Love also delivered their speech with gratitude saying "There are about 340,000 people across the country who have hearing impairments. More than 90% of children who get artificial cochlear implants before the age of three are able to attend normal schools. With this donation, we will be able to gift hearing to more children around the globe." 

Over 1,300 personal collections and over 2,100 fashion and lifestyle items were sold in the event, which is attended by 700 fans in total and applauded Taeyang for his charitable deed.  

It was on January 2 when the 31-year-old singer Taeyang announced that he will be starting the year with a good cause by holding a charity flea market and fundraising auction. Since his return from the military service, he planned an event that would include the fans to do something meaningful together.

Taeyang elaborated that the profit that will be raised on the fundraising will be donated to Snail of Love, an organization that aims to help and provide cochlear implants and hearing aids to those in need and that the other Items will be from DARA, AKMU, WINNER, IKON, CL and IONE. 

YG Entertainment said explained that the name of the event is "Flower Response" a continuation of "Flower Road," a track released by BIGBANG in 2018, and this resembles the beautiful heart of Taeyang giving away his possessions to a flower. 

On the other hand, fans and netizens are proud of Taeyang, they really considered him as a role model. Taeyang and G Dragon had recently finished their service from the military and still no news regarding their comeback.

Taeyang started training under YG Entertainment at the age of 12. Later on, he made his debut in 2006 as a member of the boy band Big Bang. 

In 2008, Teyang pursued a solo career releasing his first extended play hot. The playlist wins the award for the Best R&B Soul Album at the 6th Korean Music Awards.
