Age is a whole particular topic and culture in Korea since babies are pronounced one year of age on their day of birth. That's why idols who were born in 1991 are considered as 30-year-olds in Korea rather than their international age. Here's our list of 14 male and female idols who will celebrate their 30th birthday this 2020!

Jeong Jinwoo

The singer and actor will be turning thirty on the 2nd of May. He debuted in 2008 as a member of 2AM which disbanded in 2014. He began his acting career with his role in the 2012 KBS series "Dream High 2". 

 Lee Hoya

Hoya debuted in Infinite in 2010 which is under Woollim Entertainment. He left the group and the company in 2017. Currently, Hoya is partaking in his military services and will be celebrating his birthday on the 28th of March. 

Heize

Heize was born on the 9th of August, 1991. She began her musical career with her EP titled "Heize", however, it wasn't until she appeared on the reality show "Unpretty Rapstar" that she shot to fame. 

Infinite's Woohyun and Sungyeol

While the two members are same-aged friends, Woohyun already turned 30 on the 8th of February while Sungyeol is behind by a couple of months, his birthday is on the 27th of August. 

EXID's LE

EXID's rapper was born on the 10th of December, 1991 and will be entering her thirties as well this 2020. LE has been credited for songwriting for over 50 songs, including EXID's hit tracks "Up & Down," "DDD," and "Lady." 

AOA's Jimin

AOA is one of the veteran girl groups of Kpop, and their leader is already 30! Jimin entered her 30's on the 8th of January of this year. 

WINNER's Jinu

Jinu, who will turn thirty on the 26th of September, participated and won Mnet's survival program "WIN: Who is Next", the group then became Winner who debuted in August 2014. He released his solo single album "Jinu's Heyday" in August 2019. 

SHINee's Key and Minho

Although these two members of SHINee have been busy with their separate careers, it cannot be forgotten that they're same-aged friends. Key's birthday is on the 23rd of September while Minho's is on the 9th of December. They're both undergoing their military services. 

Red Velvet's Irene

Irene's beautiful and youthful visuals make it hard to believe that she'll be turning thirty soon on the 29th of March. Red Velvet just had their "Psycho" comeback and are now taking a break.
