VIXX Hongbin's managing agency, Jellyfish Entertainment released apology statement. They took to Twitter and expressed their sorry towards the recent live stream scandal where their talent, sounded disrespectful to K-pop idol group, SHINee on 29^th of February. The incident that made the fans in rage is when he negatively commented on SHINEE's track, "Everybody".

The viral streaming received too much hate among fans and asking for an apology for such disrespect among SHINee's followers as well as idols. To answer this, VIXX Hongbin's agency which is Jellyfish Entertainment decided to go on public and tell everyone how sorry they are towards SHINee idols and fans.

Jellyfish Entertainment Statement

They stated that they believe that their artist Lee Hong Bin have caused great pain among SHINee  idols as well the supporters of the k-pop boy group. They said that as a manner of apology, they bow their heads. They even mentioned they feel responsible of their talent's actions as it greatly reflects their company as well and promises to take a closer look on the supervisions of their idols to avoid further scenarios in the future.

It was on the 29^th of February where in VIXX Hongbin decided to go Twitch live streaming to celebrate his 1^st anniversary on the said Platform. It was going smooth, but, in the middle of the streaming when SHINee's track, "Everybody" started playing, he made negative comments that caught the attention of fans and caused them to be angry. Thus, fans were asking for an apology.

Hongbin's Apologies

VIXX Hongbin did his part by expressing his apology through live streaming followed by an Instagram post. He directly expressed his apology to the SHINee fans and idols who were hurt. He admitted his mistake and felt sorry for his fellow VIXX and fans as well for the trouble he has done. He even said that he would make sure that such incident alike will not happen in the future.
