Music Bank show in Dubai was canceled due to concerns surrounding the coronavirus outbreak. On March 3, the organizer Makestar announced that they will cancel the 'Music Bank' World Tour, which was scheduled to be held in Dubai on the 21st, and refund the ticket in full.

This decision was inevitably made after a consultation with the host, KBS, as the new coronavirus infection (Wuhan-Pneumonia) spreads around the world and the number of domestic patients is growing rapidly.

Makestar's CEO Jae-myun Kim said, "'Music Bank in Dubai' was held for a year by KBS, Dubai Tourism Board, various organizations and various partners, so it was not easy for us to decide to cancel the event. This decision was made in the judgment that nearly 200 staff members, including artists, could not take precedence over any of the safety and health risks that could arise from moving."

He added, "At first, we decided that a quick decision was the way to reduce the damage even more for K-pop fans in the Middle East who had been interested in waiting for 'Music Bank in Dubai' performance. We will reconsider the schedule later so the show can resume after the Corona19 (Wuhan-Pneumonia) issue is cleared."

As the Music Bank in Dubai performance is canceled, all tickets sold will be refunded sequentially on each ticketing platform.

Music Bank in Dubai was scheduled to be held at the Coca-Cola Arena, the largest concert hall in the Middle East on the 21st, but last month KBS said it was considering whether to hold a concert due to the spread of Corona19(Wuhan-Pneumonia).
