In the K-pop industry, it's normal for idols to receive gifts of all sorts from their fans. However, some companies have started to regulate the items that can be given to the artists. Other entertainment labels have already banned this type of activity since it can sometimes come off as wasteful. Nevertheless, it is still a delight to see the reaction of your favorite celebrities when they receive lavish gifts from their fans.

Below are some of the idols who have received extravagant presents from their supporters in the past. 

1. Red Velvet

Wendy's fansite, called 'WENever', was reported to have given her a variety of studio equipment when the idol mentioned that she wanted to try her hand at producing music. Meanwhile, for her birthday, Joy's Chinese fans gave her over $40,000 worth of luxury designer clothing, accessories and perfume from brands like Chanel, Hermes, and Fendi. No one can top Yeri's fansite, 'God Chose Yeri', who bought her a piece of land in England for her 20th birthday. 

2. BTS

ARMYs are known to be dedicated fans to their 'Tannies' even during their pre-Billboard days. Jungkook was fondly given the nickname 'Golden Maknae' by his members, which explains why he received a 50-gram gold bar for his birthday. Taehyung also had a phase when he enjoyed everything Gucci. His fans did not miss this fact that he's been given different apparel from the brand during fan-meets and especially on his birthday. 

3. EXO

Chanyeol's fansite, 'Chanbar', gifted him a customized Edelweiss baby piano, which can play by itself when connected to an album. Sehun's Chinese fans are on another level with their present of Scottish land, the money used to buy it is used to conserve and protect Scottish soil. On the other hand, Lay's fans held a parade of Maseratis, a huge cruise ship, and a helicopter to celebrate his first-ever solo concert in China, 'Grandline'.

4. Super Junior

ELFs surprised their favorite idols by building and establishing a school in Africa! This priceless gift was achieved through fundraising and to celebrate Super Junior's 10th anniversary as a group. The men have mentioned before that they would like to establish a school for the less fortunate, and they were very grateful that their fans gave it to them. 

5. Kang Daniel

The idol received luxury items for his 21st birthday, which was given by his fansite "Peach UP!" It includes Saint Laurent, Jimmy Choo, Gucci, and Adidas x Alexander Wang.

6. JYJ's Junsu

A group of Junsu's fan clubs donated money under his name to AdraKore, which is an organization that constructs houses and improves living conditions for communities in Cambodia.

7. TVXQ's Yunho

Yunho visited Ghana for KBS' charity project and broadcasting program "Road for Hope."During his stay, the former idols collaborated with his fans and donated money to build schools for the children in Bongo, Northern Ghana. They named it "The Yunho Center," which opened in 2015 and taught over 200 students.
