On March 15, the Korean singer, Lee Ji Hye opens up about unfortunate news on her YouTube account, confessing to her fans and netizens about her miscarriage.
On her hospital bed, Ji Hye announced to everyone that she recently suffered from a miscarriage, losing her second baby. It was not long ago when Ji Hye excitedly announced that she's having a second child together with her husband last February 27, through a live broadcast. However, she also reveals on the broadcast that the condition of her pregnancy is not in a very good condition.

After two weeks, she took on another live stream to bring the sad news.
"I did a few tests, and my baby's heart is not beating, so I had to say goodbye. It's actually not easy for me to announce this to my subscribers, and I am not comfortable bringing this unfortunate news after everyone showers me a lot of congratulatory messages."
In addition to this, Lee Ji Hye then assures her fans and the netizens that she's okay with a positive outlook to the following days.
"I am now fine. I recovered quickly, and I thought I would be able to meet a healthy child in the future."
Ji Hye then poses a bright smile to her fans before ending her broadcast. Fans and supporter of the singer, later on, expressed their encouraging messages to Ji Hye, consoling her after losing her baby. They are also assuring the singer that it was okay to feel sad, and she doesn't have to try that hard to look like she's really fine.
"Please don't send your apologies to us, you don't owe an apology to anyone."

Meanwhile, Lee Ji Hye, born 1980, is a former 'pop' idol and member of the co-ed group S#ARP, wherein she caught up in a bullying controversy with co-member Seo Ji Young. It was reported that Seo Ji Young verbally bullied her, leading to their disbandment after being unable to endure the pain anymore.

After breaking up with group last 2002, she continues her career as a solo act and as a Korean actress. In 2017, she got married to Tax Accountant Moon Jae Wan and later on announced their first baby named Taeri last 2018.
During her interview for KBS 2TV's "Entertainment Weekly", Lee Ji Hye revealed where she got the inspiration of naming her first baby, Tae-Ri.
She said that after watching the Korean Drama, "Mr Sunshine," her husband and her think that it would be great if their daughter will grow up as beautiful as Kim Tae-Ri, the main female protagonist of the show.

"I want to raise her as a child with a high level of happiness," she said.
Ji Hye's husband also talked about of joining her daughter into Miss Korea when she grew up, and the singer jokingly mocked her husband by saying, "She looks like you, what are you saying?"
On the other hand, despite the unfortunate news, fans are hoping that the couple will be gifted another child soon.
