On March 20, actress Yoo Hye Won's agency released an official statement as a response to the dating rumor involving her and the former BIGBANG member, Seungri.

According to SBD [Saetbyeoldang] Entertainment, "It is difficult to confirm as it was the actress's personal life."

The agency did not deny nor confirm Hye Won's relationship with Seungri.

The controversy started through an online community after netizens who witnessed the military enlistment of the former idol on March 9 noticed some photos of a girl inside Seungri's car. The speculation began and claimed that it was the ex-BIGBANG member's girlfriend. Then, they began to wonder about the identity of the mysterious girl.

In the photo, a girl was sitting in the back seat while Seungri is entering the 6th Division Recruitment Training Center in Cheolwon-gun, Gangwondo. The appearance of the girl was not clear, but looking closely at the other angle of the photos, a guy in front of the girl was sitting together with a dog.

Shortly after, online users claimed that the dog resembles Yoo Hye Won's pet, raising the speculations of her dating the former idol.

Meanwhile, this is not the first time that the two were seen together. In October of 2018, Taiwanese and Chinese press released photos of the two, Seungri and Hye Won, having a lovely time together.

The two were caught hugging in Amsterdam. The speculations strengthened after posting their individual shots through their personal Instagram account, wearing the same outfit on the photos taken by paparazzi. However, Seungri and the actress did not confirm their current status officially.

As the second dating rumor of Hye Won and Seungri arises, netizens believe that they have been dating since 2018, that their relationship is getting stronger amidst Seungri's closed issue.

Aside from fans congratulating the former idol who was finally free of charge after proving his innocence and being indicted without detention, Seungri's supporters are also rooting for him and his dating life if in case it is true. 

This is not the case for Hye Won though, as she is a rookie actress. Some K-netizens are worrying that her career will be over once her involvement with Seungri is unleashed, not to mention that she has been receiving hateful comments because of this.

"Her career will be damaged, for sure," an online user wrote.

"The money is perfect; she can date him even if he doesn't have a good looking face," a netizen said, saying that she is only dating him because of the former idol's money.

"They are dating, but they don't want to confirm it. I would be ashamed to be associated with him, as well," another netizen said.

Yoo Hye Won is a Korean actress and model who is pursuing a career in acting. She gained attention after her appearance in the 2018 web drama "Go Back Diary."
