The MONSTA X member Hyungwon has asked the MONBEBEs' forgiveness after keeping in contact with former groupmate Wonho. The singer left a long note on the group's fan page. This message was posted after the group was seen having a happy late-night meal with their former groupmate Wonho.

Wonho may have left MONSTA X but he has never left Starship Entertainment. It shouldn't be a shock that the group remains in contact with each other. Especially, they have been groupmates and friends. Although a lot of netizens were shocked to find out that the idea of them being friends is against the group's fan base.

It turns out that after Wonho got involved with a scandal together with Jung Da Eun, a lot of MONBEBEs have supported his eviction from the group.

"Hi MONBEBEs, I know most of you are still awake because of me that's why I'm writing this post. First of all, I wanna apologize to all of you. Whatever the reasons are, in the end, it is our fault because we got complacent. Things are already rough these days, and we are always doing our best to be in our best behaviors and show a positive side. Again, we are truly sorry for not being able to do exactly that. We can only promise that in the future, we will work harder for you and become more cautious as not to hurt and give you, all the MONBEBEs a hard time.

Please continue to support us as we fix whatever mistakes we have done. As I write this, I am worried about all the misunderstandings that have happened and may happen but after seeing all your comments, I couldn't just let it go. I had to write this. Also, this is our page. A place for MONBEBEs and MONSTA X, where we can freely communicate. I know this writing will not fix anything but I will post it here with a hopeful heart, wishing that all of you won't get hurt anymore.
