MONSTA X’s Jooheon Visits Minhyuk + Talks on What He Was Doing While on Hiatus
MONSTA X's Jooheon showed his support to fellow member Minhyuk.
On Thursday, March 25, MONSTA X uploaded a video of the behind-the-scenes meeting of Minhyuk and Jooheon in the SBS Inkigayo set, where Minhyuk is working as one of the show's hosts.
In order to reflect on his health and wellbeing, Jooheon had a short break but is now expected to return with his co-members in the first half of this year.
In the video, Jooheon paused at a café for the first time to purchase Minhyuk's favorite drink, a brown tea, coffee, and snacks. He also spoke on different matters, including the coronavirus infection and his clothing, while waiting for the drinks.
When asked where he would like to go while wearing his costume, he replied, "I want to be out somewhere emotionally with music, but everybody needs to be careful nowadays. There's nothing I can do for our Monbebes [MONSTA X's fandom name] who live overseas, but I hope I can give you courage by telling you something. Just hang in there and ensure that you have and use the sanitizer for your hand."
After reading neon signs in the shop, the MONSTA X member said, "I feel amazing when I read such amazing sentences." "I miss them all and just curious about what Monbebes are doing right now. Now I am looking up and reading your responses at the fan café. I read a lot about the vibes and responses of Monbebes. I can write songs with this."
He went on, "I absolutely stopped writing songs when I was relaxing. I stopped it, and I let it go."
The K-pop star continued narrating what he had been doing while on leave. He shared, "I've consumed anything I like to eat, I've been sleeping, and I've spent much time at home. One thing I have noticed about all this is why people have become homebodies. Because it was so wonderful to be at home."
He added, "I have also been exercising regularly. The training gave me great strength and also emotionally supported me."
Then, Jooheon grabbed his drinks and proceeded to Minhyuk's changing room for the SBS broadcast.
Minhyuk said with a smile, "Joohoney is the first co-member to visit and cheer me on."
Jooheon added: "For the first time in a while, I'm able to watch other shows. I'll learn a lot when I look at them. This is my first experience in a dressing room, so that's very awkward."
"That may be like a rehearsal. Thank you Joohoney for coming here," Minhyuk motivated him.
Minhyuk then asked if he had purchased the brown sugar bubble tea and smiled once he saw his beverage of choice. The two were having a fun conversation while sharing a bag of snacks.
Speaking of what the band was up to, Jooheon addressed Monbebes.
"We're gearing up for our concert. It was said that the MONSTA X concerts are fun, huh? So now we're going to prepare a ton of fun performances. You're going to be really amazed about that. So surprised, then. You're going to find yourself standing up while you're watching," he said.
Minhyuk then quipped, "You've given them too many spoilers. That was enough."
Jooheon had a coffee shop meal and finished his visit by taking photographs with Minyhuk, which he subsequently posted to Twitter's Group page.
