After having spent a trip to New York, CJ ENM verified that a PD had transmitted Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Based on the most recent separate reports from Sports World and Ilgan Sports, one production director (PD) of the CJ ENM program had come back positive for Coronavirus. On 18 March, the patient was said to have headed for New York break. He experienced anomalous health concerns after returning and subsequently came back positive for the virus. The producer is reportedly in hospital and undergoing treatment.

CJ ENM has verified the situation in response, and is now initiating steps to start quarantine procedures. To disinfect the site, the Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu facility will be shut down for the weekend, and all staff was advised to work from home for the weekend, if necessary.

"We recently verified that one of our workers has contracted Coronavirus. We are closing the whole establishment to prevent infection from spreading and we are taking emergency measures."

The explanation for the complete building's closure is that the PD returned to work after returning from his vacation in New York. In the mixing area, outdoor shooting locations, editing space, and meeting room, the PD would go back and forth.

It was also announced, nevertheless, that Mnet's show Voice Korea 2020 will conduct in-person casting calls starting today for contestants clearing the online assessment, supporting the statements of the employees. "It's true the patient is one of the PDs for Bap Bless You 2. All the producers started to self-quarantine themselves after noticing symptoms of the virus.

All the producers screened for COVID-19 and the findings are yet to be released. Within today or tomorrow, the cast and crew will all be checked."
