The 25-year-old idol, born as Kim Nam-joon, shared one of his personal stories while he was in high school, of which he revealed gaining a sweetheart and how they broke up. This sounded interesting when he once appeared in one of the episodes of Problematic Men. RM, like any other youngsters, he also had his share of memories where he succumbed into an aching heart.

RM told everyone in the show that he used to have a girlfriend way back in high school. Being naturally charismatic, it was not impossible to catch the heart of that certain young lady. However, a relationship barrier stood in between that they both parted ways.

He also added that his high school sweetheart had a lot of male friends. Although he does not consider this as a problem, he admitted that he was somehow bothered by the thought of it.
