Pengsoo, a sensational penguin mascot has released its first digital single album on "Billboard Project Vol.1" titled "This is PENGSOO" on April 21.

As of 8 a.m. Wednesday, the song was dominating various music streaming charts such as Bugs and Genie Music, grabbing the first place. However, on the largest music streaming service in Korea, Melon, it only ranked 29th.

"This is PENGSOO" successfully made in into the top of major music charts as released on April 21st. Pensgoo expressed its gratitude on Instagram with Tiger JK.

Tiger JK, a high-profile hip-hop musician stated, "Thank you for your huge love and support, we have made it to the Billboard and making the song top the music charts," and Pengsoo said "I appreciate your support and PENGLOVE you."

"This is PENGSOO" is a blend of rap and yodel. Pengsoo has collaborated with famous hip-hop musicians including Tiger JK, Bizzy and BIBI to release a digital single targeting Billboard's music chart.

Revenue from the track will be donated to an environmental organization in celebration of World Penguin Day (April 25).
