On April 22, Park Yoochun had a trial in the Uijeongbu District Court for an imprisonment verdict. It was about his supposed refusal to pay damages to one of the women whom he allegedly harassed sexually ("A").

The court of imprisonment conviction is a court that arises when a debtor does not follow a property elucidation appointment or fails to send a list of properties.

"A" was one of four women who accused Park Yoochun of sexual harassment in 2016 (he was soon found not responsible on all four counts). At the moment, Park Yoochun lodged a criminal complaint about suspected slander and false allegations against "A."

"A" was granted a non-culpable decision in both her cases and the supreme court rejected the application for an appeal from the prosecution.

In 2018, "A" lodged a criminal complaint against Park Yoochun for a 100 million won (about $81,000) damages. Park Yoochun and "A" were ordered by the court to resolve the dispute for losses through compulsory settlement.

In July 2019, the Mediation Center of Seoul Court decided that Park Yoochun would pay "A" 50 million won (about $41,000) in restitution. However, after Park Yoochun allegedly refused to pay the settlement, so a detention conviction trial was held.

The Uijeongbu District Court decided on the April 22nd trial that Park Yoochun would not receive punishment.

If a detention court issues a "non-sentence" decision, it typically means that the sentence is unjust, or that the defendant has proven that he fulfilled his duties by the trial date.

Park Yoochun was confirmed to have a face-to-face conversation with the Mayor of Uijeongbu, Ahn Byung Yong, on 23 April. A Uijeongbu City Hall informant had informed Xportsnews, "We know Park Yoochun has come to visit us this morning. It's not even a very long conversation. We don't know why they spoke, or even about what they spoke. It seems like it wasn't a scheduled meeting."

One representative of Park Yoochun had informed MK's Star Today, "He lives in Namyangju, and has had a hearing in Uijeongbu previously. He headed there to receive the guidance of an elder, who is already senior in his life."

Park Yoochun's Sexual Harassment Controversies and Lawsuits

Park was a target of a series of reports of sexual harassment by four women in June 2016, while in the midst of his two-year compulsory military service. The company that houses Park refuted all the charges.

On July 14, 2016, the authorities dismissed all allegations against Park, and on January 17, 2017, the Seoul Central District Criminal Court decided in favor of Park, reciting a guilty verdict for the plaintiffs and imposing full-term convictions as sought by the prosecution. One woman, Miss Lee, was convicted to two years in jail, her coconspirators; one year and six months for the partner and two years and six months for the gang member.

The second defendant, a Miss Song, was arrested by the authorities on 13 March 2017 on charges of False Allegations and Slander. The first hearing took place on 4 April 2017 at Seoul Central District Court, where the defendant demanded a public jury. Miss Song filed a complaint against Park in December 2018 over the loss. The court concluded a compulsory arbitration to settle the dispute on 15 July 2019 and directed Park to compensate Miss Song 100 million Korean won.

Police have confirmed on July 30, 2019, that they were conducting an investigation Park's allegations of bribery in his case of sexual harassment resulting in all charges against him being dismissed by police back in 2016.

On 17 January 2018, Park was charged for 1.2 billion won by an acquaintance on charges of neglect culminating in injuries caused by a dog bite that happened seven years earlier.
