On April 27, SM Entertainment confirmed that the K-pop idol group Super Junior will have a comeback and an upcoming fan meeting on May 18 with "SJ Returns 4!"

On this day, SM C&C STUDIO or also known as SM Culture and Contents, which is a studio specializing in creative content, released its first teaser video for "SJ Returns 4" on Naver V LIVE and Naver TV.

In the video teaser, the seven Super Junior members, namely Donghae, Kyuhyun, Eunhyuk, Siwon, Shindong, Leeteuk, and Yesung, were featured wearing their casual attires. While the remaining two members Heechul and Ryeowook, were seen flying above, wearing special CG Superman outfits.

"SJ Returns" is Super Junior's exclusive web entertainment show that sweeps the K-pop and entertainment industries alike, showing the group's true value.

From season 1 of "SJ Returns," which first aired in  2017 to "SJ Returns 3" broadcasted in  2019, the variety show hosted by Super Junior members has been loved by several viewers due to its refreshing concept and upgraded fun for three consecutive years.

In the first season, the show followed the preparation of the group with their comeback after nearly two years of hiatus. The story behind their comeback was featured airing from November to December of 2017, ending with the release of their album.

In the second season, Label SJ, the label of Super Junior under SM Entertainment, confirmed "SJ Returns Season 2," and it was aired through online sites as well as on broadcast channels from November to December 2018. The concept was different from Season 1 as the show also followed Ryeowook's life after serving the military, joining his co-members on "ELF's table," which is a gourmet relay concept prepared for the fans.

In 2019 "SJ Returns 3," the third season of the show features Yesung, Ryeowook, and Kyuhyun, who joined the show as well, making it more meaningful for ELFs, which is the fandom of the global band.

As Season 4 was finally announced, fans, netizens, and viewers are anticipating new content from Super Junior, who will be showing off their new concept and at the same time celebrating their 15th anniversary this year.

The group, which debuted on November 6, 2005, is expected to have the show as a long time project marking their anniversary with the fans. Thus, the show is expected not to solely focus on the members, but the concept will be reflecting ELFs as well, who are with them on that span of time.

Based on the teaser, Super Junior will be unveiling, "SJ Returns 4 Elf."

Apparently, the show will be collecting items that they want to see every month from the icons, granting the wishes of their supporters.
