MAMAMOO's Hwasa sat down with Spotify Korea for a quick question and answer portion. The first question that was raised was, "What do you think when you first heard the track Physical?"

Hwasa answered, "I was on a vacation in Bali, planning to rest comfortably when I found out that I had the opportunity to be featured in Dua Lipa's song, so even though I was on vacation, I ended up feeling like I could not breathe at all!"

She was completely surprised to know about the possible collaboration considering Dua Lipa has been her favorite international artist.

Hwasa continued, 'Woah! The fact that I got to have a feature with the artist I love the most, Dua Lipa? I think I spent all night with my eyes open."

Then the singer went on to share her thoughts about the song "Physical."

"About the song, I think it's so good to the point that there is nothing to talk about. Throughout the vacation, after I heard the plan and music, even if it was a bit rushed, I thought we could make it. I only really thought about how to give my best to the song."

When questioned about how did she end up doing a collaboration with Dua Lipa, this is her response. "Like I said I was on vacation earlier, my agency asked if I wanted to do a feature with Dua Lipa. To which, of course, I definitely said yes right away."

Hwasa seemed to be enjoying the interview and keeping her excitement within herself while responding to the questions enthusiastically.

Spotify asked if "What makes this song special?" Hwasa responded, "I think I can't just pick one part as the overall song is so powerful! I think it's a song that catches all of your senses."

Hwasa also got the chance to share and talk about her future goals when she was asked all about it. She said, "I am currently working really hard on my solo. I think it's been quite a while since I have been promoting as MAMAMOO or as myself, but in that time, I have always been preparing myself. As I have the greed to prepare more perfectly."

Hwasa ended the interview by sharing how much she had been preparing for her solo since the beginning, and because of the current situation worsen by the Coronavirus Pandemic, it all got scrapped at the moment, but surely will resume later after the global crisis that we are experiencing right now.

Hwasa said, "It all kind of got delayed, but I hope everyone could patiently wait for a little more."

It was in March when Dua Lipa pushed and crossed all the musical boundaries once again to prove that music has no limitations when she tapped and stunned all fans around the world by announcing that she will release a song with the prominent South Korean girl band member of MAMAMOO "Hwasa."

The latest remix 'physical' with the Hwa Sa of girl band MAMAMOO  adds even more strength to the synth-dance track, which was influenced in the 1980s. The icon of K-pop stars new lyrics in Korean, and Hwa Sa's sexy, rummaging vocals in the bounce beat perfectly at home.

In what could become one of the most realistic pop / K-pop mashups in recent history, the women come together towards chant-ready lyric and bridge.

Like Dua Lipa, Hwa Sa is now in her profession, also a proven barrier-pusher. The pop singer marked her solo debut last year with feisty "Twit" appealing for a man's ridiculous reason, not unlike the concepts in previous Dua singles such as "Don't Start Now" or "IDGAF." Along with the member of MAMAMOO, Hwa Sa used tracks such as "Hip" or "Gogobebe" to convey strong and positive sentiments and thoughts to step out among other K-pop bands.
