EXO-Ls are heartbroken after it was announced today, May 4, that another EXO member will enlist in the military soon. In a handwritten letter to fans, Suho confirmed he is set to fulfill his mandatory obligation as a male citizen of South Korea.
The time has finally come for Suho to bid goodbye for a while to his fans after confirmation came out that his enlistment date will be on May 14, exactly ten days from now.

In his self-penned message on Lysn, Suho said:
"Hello, to our EXO-Ls, I'm Suho. I'm writing this letter as I have something to deliver to everyone.
I'll be serving my obligatory military service starting May 14. In that time, I think I'll really miss our EXO-Ls. I pray that EXO-Ls, who think and love me everyday, can always be healthy. Thank you, and I love you with all my heart.
WE ARE ONE. EXO saranghaja (let's love)."
Even though EXO-Ls already knew this day in 2020 would come, it's safe to say that they are never really ready to let the EXO's leader go until February 13, 2022. Suho is reportedly enlisting as a Public Service Officer, meaning that he is required to undergo four weeks of basic military training and that he is to fulfill his duty longer than his members Xiumin and D.O.

On March 30, Suho dropped his debut solo album "Self-Portrait" that took a landslide success as it proved his immense global popularity by sweeping the No. 1 spots on various music charts, including Hanteo Chart, Sinara Records, Yes24 and Hot Tracks, as well as topping iTunes Top Albums Chart in 54 regions around the world.
Further, "Self-Portrait" also ranked first on Chinese QQ Music, Cougaru Music, and Cower Music Digital Album Sales Chart. He also won three music shows, including Music Core and SBS's Inkigayo. Moreover, his debut album sold-over 200,000 copies.
