Date and details of Baekhyun's solo comeback have been confirmed! The EXO member is set for return as a powerful soloist on May 25 at 6:00 p.m. KST, with his seven-tracked second mini-album "Delight."

And it's a double celebration indeed as today, May 6, is Baekhyun's birthday and also the start of "Delight" pre-selling!

Details of the upcoming album were also unveiled. "Delight" will come as three versions, will have a 72-page photobook, a folded poster per album (there are a total of six), one random message card per album (a total of three), one random photocard per album (a total of six), and one sticker per album (a total of three).

This news instantly took the internet by storm and set fans all giddy as they anticipate Baekhyun's new music.

Several hours before the announcement, Baekhyun conducted a V Live stream on May 5 to interact with fans in celebration of Children's Day and his birthday. He communicated with EXO-Ls first on Twitter before his Q&A live stream.

To mark this joyous and special occasion, fans are presently celebrating the birthday of the K-pop sensation with the hashtag #HappyBaekhyunDay, which topped several regions' trending discussions and topics on Twitter. Other hashtags include #HappyKyoongDay, #VocalistBaekhyunDay, and #GeniusIdolBaekhyun.

Throughout his live stream, Baekhyun revealed as to what he's gotten up to these days, whether he's happened to meet with other members of the EXO, and showed a bit of mukbang (eating telecast) and ASMR.

When questioned which EXO members he had happened to meet recently, he replied, "About a week ago, we all managed to meet together. We had fun and a good time at a studio of Chanyeol."

When asked to make videos on his YouTube channel, KyoongTube, he responded, "I'll be shooting more videos when we can go out openly and freely. I would go to a genuinely popular restaurant or a spot where there will be a large number of people out there to have a meal alone. I'm wondering if anyone would remember or recognize me.'"

Baekhyun also tried out a multi-flavored cake, but he burst out laughing at a remark and said, "You talk like Kyungsoo [D.O.]. 'Don't chew this loud, Baekhyun.'"

Afterward, he revealed that he lives in his own house and was recently loving the house chores and cleaning process.

"I would like to try Pilates, truly, but I really don't know," he stated. "You're flexible? I'm totally not versatile. This is what I have been like from when I was small." 

He even tried to do ASMR with a few snack foods on the live stream and featured his vocals in several casual music covers.

Previously Baekhyun has performed with SuperM in SM's virtual concert performance "Beyond LIVE." He also collaborated with BOL4 in the latter's upcoming title track for her new album, which will be pre-released on May 7.

OSEN announced on April 22 that the EXO singer has plans to release his second solo album in May. He is actively engaged in different aspects of the making process, as per the report.
