Red Velvet Wendy Praises Filipino Band Ben&Ben + Says "Maybe The Night" is "Beautiful"
It looks like Red Velvet's Wendy isn't finished showing Filipino ReVeluvs the love and attention they deserve as she tried listening to the famous Ben&Ben (OPM band), following a recommendation from the fans!
Supporter with username "Dinniebear" submitted a track suggestion on Lysn, in which she suggested Wendy to try listening to Ben&Ben's "Maybe The Night."
The account wrote, "Hello, Wendy! I noticed you were listening to some music and I just want to recommend you a band from the Philippines, Please listen to the songs of Ben&Ben, I thought you might like their songs and their band. Mahal Kita! (I love you!)." The fan tweeted this with a smile and heart emojis.
Wendy then responded, "OMG! It's so beautiful, their voice! Thank you for your wonderful suggestion," indicating she must have listened to the band!

The response of the Red Velvet singer immediately reached Ben&Ben, and he quote-retweeted a follower who had also shared the very same Lysn interaction on Twitter below, "Woahhhhhhh! Thank you, Wendy! @RVsmtown."

This was not the first instance Ben&Ben has heard from K-Pop idols. For starters, The Boyz had already said they absolutely adore the tracks of Ben&Ben. In a tweet, Ben&Ben stated they learned that their 2017 track "Maybe The Night" is recognized by The Boyz, who they described as "a strong and solid" K-Pop band.

It started with a snapshot of the track and the update on their fan cafe published by The Boyz. Pinoy The Bs (the fan base name of The Boyz) has been, of course, absolutely thrilled! Some were happy that Ben&Ben had finally remembered their favorite, whereas others hoped for the two to collaborate.
Also, another recognition was when the NCT Dream member Chenle performed and featured a Ben&Ben track on a Korean radio program. Substituted for Renjun, Chenle performed "Leaves" from the famous band, as requested and suggested by a Philippine NCTzens!
He also stated that Ben&Ben had a live performance in the Philippines previously, but it was quite saddening they weren't able to have a sneak peek. Moreover, Cha Eunwoo from ASTRO also played the hit song "Kathang Isip" from the BEN&BEN throughout his fan conference in Manila last year.

Cha Eunwoo, who just successfully completed his successful first Asia Fan Conference Just One 10 Minute at the New Frontier Theatre on October 26, 2019, performed a perfect musical concert of the Ben&Ben track. Here's a short video: just pay attention to how the Filipino lyrics were clearly orated!

In the early hours of Sunday that year, Ben&Ben took their amusement to Twitter to admit that the same as other fans, they wanted a studio version of Cha Eunwoo's song rendition! They concluded their tweet by writing, "We stan!"
