In an online Korean community site, photos of BTS's "Worldwide Handsome" went viral as fans hailed him as the real-life Prince Eric of the classic Disney film, "The Little Mermaid."
Fans were amazed by the male idol's photos captured by a fansite, giving off the vibe of the fictional prince. Surely, you have watched the 1989 animated film by Disney, or you've read the love story of Ariel and Prince Eric when you were a kid, and somehow, you did wish that someday you're going to find someone like Prince Eric as well.
In the film, one of the most memorable scenes is the first meeting of Prince Eric and Ariel, wherein the Prince, who looks dashing while overlooking the sea, captured the heart of Ariel, a mermaid who is fascinated with the life on land.
Jin's photos will actually make you think that you are Ariel, looking and staring at your first love while on the surface of the sea. And if you've watched the film/read the story, the scenes that happened next is for you to imagine - How majestic it is!
Meanwhile, ARMYs are torn between Jin and Jimin, as the latter male idol is often dubbed as Prince Eric as well. Initially, Jin resembles Prince Philip, the main character in "Sleeping Beauty," but due to these photos, netizens can't help but think that Jin looks like Prince Eric, too.
In 2019, Jimin got several votes from fans who want him to play the role of live-action Prince in "The Little Mermaid," which will start filming this 2020, along with Harry Styles, Swae Lee, and many more.
The female character that is set to play as Ariel was already introduced, which is singer-actress Halle Bailey. In addition to this, Awkwafina, Melissa McCarthy, and Jacob Trembler will also join the cast. Jonah Hauer-King was reportedly cast as Prince Eric. The film is set for release on November 19, 2021.
On the other hand, going back to BTS, the iconic group recently have a group meeting amid coronavirus pandemic to plan their next stage and new Japanese album.
A video of the meeting was uploaded through their YouTube channel, BANGTAN TV, and the seven members can be seen discussing the theme and concept of their new album. They also brainstormed about the number of songs, unit tracks, and the tone of the songs they want to create that will reach the fans and listeners' hearts.
Suga expressed his suggestion and think that creating another song like "Spring Day" is a good idea. According to the idol, he wants to affirm everyone that no matter what challenges are currently going on, life must go on.
Full details about the comeback are to be announced yet, but based on the initial reports, BTS is set to have their Japanese comeback on July 15, releasing their fourth-mini album, "MAP OF THE SOUL 7: THE JOURNEY."
