First, BLACKPINK, which debuted in 2016, is only the second girl group launched from YG Entertainment. The first one was 2NE1 in 2009. After their debut, people dubbed them as the next 2NE1. However, as they geared up for their debut tracks, "Whistle" and "Boombayah," they shooked off the music industry and made a name for themselves.
