On May 15, the Japanese company SV Entertainment of SUPERNOVA made an announcement on its official website. They revealed that Yoon Hak was released from the hospital after he has completed a series of treatments for COVID-19.

His company wrote, "Since April 1, Yoon Hak has been admitted to a hospital  in Seoul after being positive in the COVID-19 screening. Thankfully, he has already been released today, May 15, after more than a month of treatment."

They continued, "Because of your everlasting words of encouragement, we feel this was all conceivable. We are working as hard as possible so that Yoon Hak can recommence his operations and activities, and we are going to continue monitoring his health.

Yoon Hak also expressed how he felt on the web page by writing a message. He posted, "I genuinely wish to make an apology to every one of our supporters and members for causing inconvenience and worry. I have gotten stronger from all the support I got through my hospital admission, and so, as a result, I am capable of living another life full of joy."

SPOTV News announced on April 3, that on April 1, Yoon Hak was infected and diagnosed with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). Amid the rumors, an official made a statement, "Yoon Hak was infected with COVID-19 on April 1, after returning to Korea on March 24 after his single promotional activities in Japan."

The source added, "Yoon Hak is reportedly admitted to hospital and undergoing care. His symptoms are fairly normal. He'll concentrate on recovery and recuperation. His boss, stylists, and other members of staff all had a negative result."

After returning to Korea, Yoon Hak showed no signs of the disease. However, he got checked on March 31 at the Seocho District Public Health Center after signs started showing up progressively.

He was given a diagnosis the next day and has been sent off to the Seoul Medical Center, where he has been currently being treated in an enclosed place.

While other staff members in the entertainment industry including Chungha, EVERGLOW workers, and a junior producer on "Food Bless You" tested positive for COVID-19, Yoon Hak is the very first Korean public figure to be diagnosed with this.

Yoon Hak rendered his 2007 breakthrough as a part of SUPERNOVA and has already been actively promoted primarily in Japan.

He also appeared in the "Fates and Furies" series and "My Unfortunate Boyfriend."
