YG Entertainment revealed further information about the upcoming debut of TREASURE!

YG revealed on May 21, Thursday, that Bang Ye Dam will release his first solo song before TREASURE formally makes its July debut. The solo single from Bang Ye Dam will be launched sometime in June.

In a clarified statement issued by its label, YG explained that this was because long before TREASURE was established, Bang Ye Dam had already been planning for his solo record project.

Bang Ye Dam has already been a seven-year trainee under YG Entertainment. This solo is planned as a surprise gift for supporters ahead of the official launch of TREASURE.

The solo song will have a music video, but Bang Ye Dam won't turn up to advertise the track. In addition, YG said TREASURE is "preparing to launch new tracks 3-4 times in a row starting in July, until around the end of the year."

This is similar to the approach implemented in BIGBANG back in 2006. TREASURE will engage in successful promotional activities from July through to the end of the year, which include music show appearances.

We would like to announce additional news regarding TREASURE for the fans.

Prior to TREASURE's upcoming official debut in July. BANG YE DA's first solo single album will be released in June.

BANG YE DAM won second place on 'K-pop Star' Season 2 back in 2012 when he was just 11 years old and has received seven years of raining at YG Entertainment after signing wit the agency.

He is now about to make official debut as the main vocalist of TREASURE.

YG has been preparing BANG YE DAM's solo project for a long time before TREASURE was formed and decided that it would be a good decision to release a song that was already completed, as a surprise gift for the fans in June prior to TREASURE's official debut.

For everyone's information, BAND YE DAM's solo single will be released with a music video, but currently, we are not planning any promotional activities such as music broadcast appearances due to TREASURE's debut preparation schedule.

Please show love and support to the upcoming first-ever solo sing by BANG YE DAM, the vocalist with a fascinating voice color and charms.

In addition, we would like to inform you about TREASURE's plans for this year.

TREASURE is planning to release new songs 3-4 times consecutively beginning in July until the end of the year. Please think of it as a similar promotional method of how BIGBANG released single for three consecutive months when they first made their debut back in 2006.

As we have mentioned before, TREASURE will continuously visit the fans through various content, including music broadcast appearances from July until the end of the year. They will surely do their best to meet the fans' expectations.
