Minzy was the first to leave 2NE1 in 2016 and later revealed in an interview the real reason of her goodbye. Not long after, the girl group shocked the industry when they disbanded.
A few years later, Minzy started to become active on social media and has made several appearances, like her most recent guesting at MBC Radio, where she opened up about her real feelings about 2NE1.
Minzy revealed that one of her desires is to have a full-scale comeback with 2NE1: Bom, Dara, and CL. This sparked thrill among BLACKJACKs who remain hopeful for a reunion. She added that the girls had a video call to celebrate 2NE1's 11th anniversary.
Further, the singer noted that during their 11th year celebration, the 2NE1 members joked that they should reunite before they get osteoporosis. Minzy said, "I'm working with the mind that we'll meet again someday."
Minzy is currently promoting her solo-album "Lovely" with its self-titled single. She also confirmed that she is currently working as a one-person company with the help of her dad. She said she finds it great as her father motivates her while working.
