NCT's Mark is Making Heads Turn + Netizens Say He Looks Like Kim Soo Hyun
NCT's Mark is making waves after netizens compare his visuals and charms to actor Kim Soo Hyun. For those who don't know Mark, he is a member of NCT and has debuted in NCT U, NCT 127, and NCT Dream. He has also debuted in SuperM alongside other NCT members, Taeyong, Lucas, and Ten.
Originally from Canada, Mark moved to Korea to chase his dream of being an idol and is currently active as the rapper and dancer of the groups he is in. Other than NCT, Mark has dived into solo work, appearing on Mnet's "High School Rapper" and creating songs with Henry Lau and EXO's Xiumin. Mark was also the MC of "Show! Music Core" from 2018 to 2019. He was born in 1999 and is twenty-two years old in Korean age.
Kim Soo Hyun, on the other hand, is a South Korean actor who is best known for his works in "Dream High", "My Love from the Star", and "The Producers". He is a whole decade older than Mark - though it isn't obvious - as he was born in 1988, making him 33 years old in Korean age. He is one of the most famous actors in South Korea and was included in the Forbes Korea Power Celebrity list in 2013, 2015, and 2016. He was also part of Forbes 30 under 20 in 2016.
So it's safe to say that both Mark and Kim Soo Hyun are helping the Hallyu Wave spread in both the East and the West!
Korean netizens have recently started circulating photos of Mark back when he had black hair, and the resemblance to actor Kim Soo Hyun is almost uncanny. When his hair is down, straight, and black, he can almost pass off as the actor's younger brother. They aren't identical, but netizens say they have similar vibes and charms.
