Stone Music Entertainment just released IZ*ONE's latest MV for "Secret Story of the Swan." But even though the song garnered immediate prominence, the official music video also received criticisms for what netizens claim as a poor editing job.

IZ*ONE's latest MV showcases the remarkable capabilities of the members to dance to a charming song, not to consider its youthful beauty. However, internet users started to notice one scene, which many assume to be an editing error. The presumed blunder occurs straight after Chaeyeon's dance break.

While Yena, Eunbi, Chaeyeon, Sakura, and Chaewon completed dance performance in the middle of the stage, Wonyoung and Yujin have been seen stand-by all over the left corner of the screen prior to entering the frame.

Though this error can still be seen for a second of the MV, many people on social media convey their frustration into what they believe to be a bad editing job.

IZ*ONE is a South Korean-Japanese girl group, established via the Mnet competition show, Produce 48.

The team consists of twelve participants, led by Jang Won-Young, Sakura Miyawaki, Jo Yu-ri, Choi Ye-na, Yu-jin, Nako Yabuki, Kwon Eun-bi, Kang Hye-won, Hitomi Honda, Kim Chae-won, Kim Min-ju, and Lee Chaeyeon.

The band's activities and operations were immediately halted in late 2019 due to an investigative process into the manipulation of the Mnet vote.

IZ*ONE debuted with their first extended play (EP) Color*Iz on October 29, 2018. After its launch, the group got instant global success, selling more than 225,000 units and cresting at number 2 on the Gaon music charts in South Korea.

The EP and its main track "La Vie en Rose" were both listed on both Billboard World Albums and World Digital Songs. They have all been later praised for their first accomplishment at several award shows, such as the Golden Disc Awards and Seoul Music Awards, as the New Artist of the Year.

Their Japanese debut single from the band, "Suki to Iwasetai," was released under UMG's EMI Records label on February 6, 2019.

The track reached its peak rating at number 2, with more than 250,000 units sold. Platinum was certified to the Japanese Music Industry Association (RIAJ).

2020 COMEBACK VENTURES

On January 6, 2020, the companies of the participants and CJ ENM reached a settlement to resume the operations of the group. IZ*ONE eventually released their first Bloom*Iz studio album on February 17.

Bloom*Iz smashed the existing record of first weekly sales of the girl band on Hanteo on February 23, with 356,313 copies were sold during its first seven days - this is also the first girl group in the history of Hanteo charts to cross the 300,000 units sold.

It was officially confirmed on May 12 that they would have a summer comeback and will release the 3rd season of their Iz*One Chu television show. It was stated on May 19 that on June 15, the band would release their third mini-album "Oneiric Diary."

The firm announced on June 15 that the music video release will be moved to June 16, while the performance video and album will be unveiled on the initial date provided.

The group held a comeback presentation on Mnet's second stream M2 for their album.
