K-pop Male Idols Who are Known to be Heavy Drinkers!
Koreans - which include K-pop stars - have their habits when it comes to liquor, coming from the soju country, with chimaek (chicken and beer) and makgeoli, and all of it! And exchanging a couple of drinks (or ten) could be a great comfort against stress when done in the right way!
In this regard, here's a list of K-pop idols who are identified as heavy drinkers and who can really hold their liquor very well.
SUPER JUNIOR's KYUHYUN
Kyuhyun of Super Junior has been well recognized for his love of a refreshing drink. He's fairly the toughest drinker among his bandmates in the Super Junior band.
Enduringly called a "Cho-runkard" for his heavy drinking, Kyuhyun is always the last to exit a free-booze agency party!
BTOB's HYUNSIK
Hyunsik is definitely the best drinker in BTOB. Once on a television show, he shared that he could consume at least three bottles of soju on his own - without really having to feel a little bump!
Although he never truly forced himself to "see his threshold," he insinuated that whenever he ends up going out having a drink, this is not out of the norm for him to be the last one standing.
SHINee's ONEW
SHINee's Onew might look like a complete weakling, passing out due to the alcohol smell, but don't be deceived! He can clear five bottles of soju by himself!
He and Super Junior's Kyuhyun make perfect drinking buddies, being labelmates and company sunbae-hoobaes - and the two go having a drink around each other in many circumstances.
KANG DANIEL
Kang Daniel is also a big drinker. He "craves" alcohol regularly - because he not only enjoys it but can manage it well.
He also has a special formula for so-maek (soju combined with beer), which is said to be a very perfect taste. He can finish good five to six bottles of soju on his own, as per Kang Daniel himself.
BLOCK B's P.O
Block B's P.O may be the group's youngest, but most of his hyungs may be wasted. On a live telecast, he once confirmed he could drink up to seven bottles of soju!
To note, P.O is, in fact, best recognized for his "cute" drinking habit. Rumor has it that he transforms into a giant aegyo machine, who gives away free kisses while he's intoxicated.
SEVENTEEN's S.COUPS
Well, if the characteristics of becoming a leader require becoming the team's best drinker, then the S.Coups of SEVENTEEN nails his role. S.Coups can withstand many more than ten bottles of soju by himself on good days.
He can still consume three bottles on bad days, though, far more than the standard.
TEEN TOP's CHUNJI
Chunji of TEEN TOP has never ever been reluctant about expressing his passion for liquor of all sorts. Chunji communicated with his fans at conferences and told them he loves to enjoy a drink or two at his meal preparation.
That being said, he can consume five to ten bottles of soju alone while he's out to really drink. Did he bring TEEN TOP at the top? Perhaps.
EXO's XIUMIN
Finally, the strongest alcoholic from K-pop land is Xiumin of EXO!
In addition to SM Entertainment drinkers, Kyuhyun and Onew, Xiumin really can retain his alcoholic beverages. Even though he's never disclosed how many bottles he could even consider taking, he can "match" anybody who goes out together with him getting drunk.
